Mission Statement
Business Lending Services (BLS) was created and formed in 1985 when the banking industry stopped helping businesses with prepackaging of loans. This was done to reduce overhead and reduce the risk of these loans that were created by the bank for the purpose of rewards to them through the secondary market (Government National Mortgage Association, GNMA). The banks could focus on borrowers that had proper structure with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) that had the ability to prepackage their company’s loan. BLS market was the banks themselves. Any loan that the business had assets and income and monies in the bank without a CFO was what BLS acts as a CFO outsourcing for businesses with revues of one million and up with two years filed tax returns. BLS provided a road map to bank finance for these businesses.
BLS has relationship with deposit banks as well as non deposit banks. In 2006, BLS became a referral agent of GE Capital the largest lender in the world. It allowed BLS to offer our CFO services in all 50 states built on the relationship with GE Capital. BLS works as a CFO for the company we represent and function as a loan officer for the bank.
BLS is compensated by the company in two areas, through an engagement agreement that provides enough hours of prep for the bank package for loan approval. Through a Funding Fee (2% or more) that provide completion of all loan support items plus all items needed for loan funding.
BLS is also compensated by the bank for our efforts as a lending officer for the bank. the loan of record when sold on the secondary market (GNMA) will bring 12 to 18 points to the banks’ bottom line.
BLS as your company’s CFO will provide the best solution for your company’s financial needs. Each loan request requires an engagement agreement. These monies are non refundable and pay BLS for their work. The engagement is not offered without a clear path to funding from a bank. The funding fee is earned upon acceptance of the loan by the company.
In the past five years we have developed banking relationships that permits BLS to offer start up business loans for new business.
